The Magic of the DEL Movement Sentence Choir

Last month, we gathered at 92NY for an unforgettable DEL Movement Sentence Choir, celebrating 90 years of the Harkness Dance Center and 10 years of hosting in-person Movement Sentence Choirs! 🎉

Led by Baye & Asa and Randi Sloan, dancers of all ages and backgrounds came together to prove that you can create a dance about anything.

Our theme? Now or never.

Using just four action words—root, howl, surge, spark—we built a brand-new piece in just three hours. The energy in the room was off the charts, and now, you get to see it in action!
