A Deep Dive into DEL Foundations
Move at your own pace with this expansive, deep dive into DEL.
DEL Foundations has been a highly popular course since DEL’s inception in 1995.
Developed by DEL Founder, Jody Gottfried Arnhold and Founding Faculty, Ann Biddle, it has evolved and adapted over its long history, but it remains a comprehensive overview of the DEL Model, which can be applied to a wide variety of teaching contexts.
DEL Foundations has been taught for many years at 92NY in New York City. Last year, we offered it in an online, asynchronous format for the first time to the public in order to make the course more feasible for a wide range of educators’ schedules and daily lives.
If you were interested in our in-person DEL Essentials course this past summer, this is an expansive, deep dive into that material. And you can work at your own pace!
Working asynchronously, you will gain the tools to apply the DEL Model to your unique teaching environment, and articulate a vision statement that represents your core Teacher’s Heart.
You’ll be supported throughout this course by an online community of peers. DEL’s learning management system is designed to engage you in dance making, honing your pedagogy, and self and peer reflection.
DEL Foundations is an online, asynchronous course that runs from November 6, 2023 – February 11, 2024.
